Hindi Song | How To Convert RM To MP3

This tutorial teaches you how to convert .rm files into mp3s. Read on to find out about the software required for this task, where to get it and how to use it.

Software/Tool Required:

Switch Sound File Conversion Software
Switch is a free audio coversion tool. It supports conversion of many format into one another, but what we need to know is that it CAN convert .rm to mp3. There is a Plus version that you can upgrade to for $US19.40 which will unlock some advanced features. You can read more about it at their website. For the purpose of this tutorial the free version is perfect and there is no need for an upgrade.

NOTE: The free version will have all the advanced features for 14 days from the day you install the software. After that trial period, the advanced features will be deactivated and every once in a while you will be asked to upgrade. Don't worry about that, just click 'NO' or 'Cancel' everytime you are asked to upgrade and you will be fine.

Use the link above to download Switch. Run the downloaded file by double-clicking and simply follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your hard drive.

How to use Switch:

You can use Switch to convert files one at a time, or convert multiple files at once. Here are the steps to convert one/multiple files:

1. First add files to the queue by clicking either the 'Add File(s)' or 'Add Folder' button (see image below). They both serve the same purpose, with the difference that the first allows you to choose the files you want and the second enables you to add all the contents of a folder to the queue.
   
   
2. Now that you have added your files, you need to choose the Output Folder, the folder where Switch will save the converted files. Click the button labelled as ' ... ' (see image below) and choose your desired folder.
   
   
3. Choose .mp3 (or any format you prefer) as the Output Format from the dropdown menu as shown in the image below.
   
   
4. Finally, click the 'Convert' button at the top right corner to get the job done.
   When you click Convert, a little window (like the one below) will pop up, which shows you what is being done. You can cancel the process by clicking the 'Cancel' button (Dah!). The window will disappear once files are converted.
   
   

There are many other commercial softwares that can do this task, but some may not be comfortable with the price tag they come with.

Farhan gets intimate, measures Deepika's height !!!!!

With Chandni Chowk To China getting ready for release, this week's special guest on 'Oye! It's Friday!' is none other than Deepika Padukone. What makes the episode special is the fact that Farhan Akhtar celebrates his birthday in this episode where there are tons of surprises and gifts galore. The episode travels from Chandni Chowk To China with Deepika Padukone and then to Mumbai with the latest item-hotty Sherlyn Chopra who comes up with a sizzling performance. Add to that some action from Sweden with Mattias Lindstrom and his spectacular 'Man on wheels' - all of which makes this week's episode worth remembering.

- Deepika's love for Ranbir is a known fact. However, expect some more sweet nothings as Farhan gets candid with the beautiful Deepika Padukone while chatting about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Deepika also shares her experience working with Akshay Kumar in CC2C.

- Deepika also narrates her hopes and dreams of settling down and getting married. Of course, she also talks about her new found friendship with none other than Sonam Kapoor, whose Delhi 6 would be releasing just a few weeks after CC2C.

- It becomes a full on fun outing as there is a very special surprise for Farhan Akhtar in the form of his dad's (the renowned lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar) visit on the show. Giving everyone a surprise visit, Javed Akhtar wishes his son a very Happy Birthday, only to continue chatting with Deepika. Expect some naughty talks in the offering as the loving dad reveals quite a few of Farhan's secrets and childhood pranks!

- In the true tradition of fun being a dominant factor on 'Oye! It's Friday!', Deepika also goes on to endorse, hold your breath, 'Oye Hair product'!

- Deepika is known for her towering height. Well, Farhan eventually gets the right measurements of her, well for height of course, by bringing a measuring tape on the show, making her stand upright and hold the tape from the top as he places the other end on her feet. Wanna guess her real height?

- As is known by one and all by now, for her upcoming film Chandni Chowk To China, Deepika Padukone underwent rigorous training in martial arts. Not someone to just believe in hearsay (in lighter vein of course), Farhan put her training to the test by asking her to break a 3 layered brick! Not to be taken for a ride by someone, the young lady convinced Farhan to do the deed instead! Did Farhan manage to break the brick or break his hand?

- Talking about stunts, Deepika demonstrates her prowess as a 'stunt queen', as learnt in Chandni Chowk To China, in the show. Watch out for her next move!

- Mattias Lindstrom from Sweden gets an international touch and class to the show and comes up with an unbelievable 'Man on wheels' act! He has been known globally for his spell-binding and awe-inspiring 'Cyre Wheel' act since 1999, hence making this segment belong to 'Don't Miss This One' category!

- Watch out for some 'Balle Balle' as 'Bhangra Power' comes on full force with Farhan being the center of attraction. There are quite a few professional 'bhangra' dancers who storm the show and make Farhan join them for the jig. Hindi Song | How To Download Videos, a tutorial

So many people asked me for a way to download videos from DHS. I'm writing this post offer a solution that issue. The videos I post are from YouTube.com as you know. In this post I will be showing you how to download those videos. So read on....


Required tool/software:

It's my favorite media player, RealPlayer v11. In the new version the wonderful people at Real Networks have implemented a new feature, and that is the ability to download web videos very easily AND play them.

You can download it from HERE, just scroll down that page and download the BASIC PLAYER. You can also buy the full featured one but that's up to you.

After you download the RealPlayer 11 and install it, here is how you use it to download videos:

Tutorial:
Step 1:
Once installed, this program adds a plugin for your browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) and whenever you are watching a video, just hover over it with you mouse and a "Download This Video" button will appear on top of the video (like in the image below) . Click on it.


If the button doesnt appear, don't panic. Just right click anywhere on the video and choose "Download This Video To RealPlayer" as shown below.


Step 2:
After you've done step 1, RealPlayer will start downloading your chosen video and a new window will appear to show the progess, like this:


As you can see, you have the options of both pausing the download and canceling it if you are not happy with it for some reason.

Step 3:
When the download is complete, you will see this:


You can obviously play the downloaded video by clicking the 'Play' link or from the download folder. (Note: Clicking 'Remove' or 'Clear' button will only delete the video from the download list, not from your computer) By default, RealPlayer downloads all your videos in a folder called "RealPlayer Downloads" inside your "My Videos" folder which is inside "My Documents" (See the image below):


That's it, you have downloaded your video! One thing you need to notice is that videos downloaded from YouTube or from this site will all be in .flv format. Normally you'd have to download a separate FLV Player for that, but not anymore. RealPlayer can both download and play not only .flv videos but almost any other video format. You can download quicktime, .wmv (Windows Media Video), .rm (Real Media), .swf (Flash), plus many more formats that I can't remember. RealPlayer 11 is that cool!! You should already know that the songs you download from this site are all in .rm format which are also playable by RealPlayer (.rm is their own audio format :D).

NOTE: Some websites, like Atom.com, have protected videos which can't be download. Apart from the few sites with protected videos, you can download videos off of any site; YouTube, Google videos, Bebo, MySpace, SpikedHumor, Apple videos, or any other site you can find.

There are MANY ways to download videos from YouTube, but I chose RealPlayer because it can do so much more! The installing part will take only a few minutes, but once it's installed it's there for you all the time. Just click the download button. I hope this tutorial and RealPlayer 11 prove to be useful for you. If not, you can use sites lik DonwloadYoutubeVideos.com where you enter the URL/address of your video and they provide you with a download link. But that's only limited to Youtube and a few other famous sites. And you'll still need to install .flv player if you don't have one. Choose whichever suits you best :)
